Our Vision
‘Together we grow…’
Rooted in John 15: 1-5, “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches.”
At Hallow, we take pride in our strong family ethos. We have established a set of 8 core values which underpin everything that makes us ‘Hallow’; these can be seen on the visual representation of the vine.
The vine grows in different directions, as do we; each one of us is unique and able to go in the direction we need to, but all of us are connected and supported by the vine itself, enabling our children to bear their own fruits. The ‘fruits’ of the vine (our core Christian values) are the product of how we teach, guide and support each other at Hallow.
The image of the vine enables us to show that FAMILY give us roots: our own families, Hallow Family and the wider concept of being part of God’s family. Jesus (JOY) is the core that flows through everything we are and do as a church school.
Hallow is a Church of England Primary School situated close to the city of Worcester, which is within the Diocese of Worcester. The School is Voluntary Aided.
The school, dating back to 1712 is proud of its long tradition but is also forward looking. It is situated on a site with a large playing field, Forest School to the rear and two large playground areas. The school is popular and demand for places is high.
This year there are 161 children on roll in 7 classrooms (one per year group). There are 12 teachers (9 full time teachers and 3 part time teachers) including the Headteacher.
The ‘good’ inspection by Ofsted in May 2022 was preceded by the Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools in June 2018 . The SIAMS Inspection judged the school to be 'Outstanding'.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff, visitors and volunteers to share this commitment.
